Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Bridges Health Partners have signed a three-year, value-based agreement for Highmark’s Medicare Advantage members in western Pennsylvania.

The agreement was developed for more than a year with Bridges and is part of Highmark’s broader strategy to shift toward value-based payment models with providers, according to a July 25 news release.
