On March 8, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a cybersecurity implementation guide to assist public and private health care sectors prevent cybersecurity incidents. The Cybersecurity Framework Implementation Guide was developed jointly with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response and the Health Sector Coordinating Council Cybersecurity Working Group. Substantial contributions to the guide were also provided by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and other federal agencies.
