Healthcare IoT can be complex to deploy, so organizations have the option to use resources tailor made for healthcare IoT deployments.

The Internet of Things (IoT) Community announced the formation of its healthcare IoT Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE will be led by vendors including Zebra Technologies and Cerner along with health IT professionals.

The CoE aims to use IoT application for healthcare services and provide best practices for healthcare IoT applications that will include:

  • Learning portal and knowledge platform
  • CoE content approach
  • Live conferences and on-demand dissemination of thought leadership
