This year after a long cross country trip I was able to attend the Civitas Annual conference in Anaheim. For those not familiar with Civitas, it started as a nonprofit organization that brought together the various HIEs (Health Information Exchanges) and it has grown to embrace a wide variety of healthcare interoperability solution providers along with suppoting the evolution of HIEs that are now doing much more than just exchanging health data.
