HIGH HOPES — Health insurers continue to push lawmakers for a clean extension of enhanced Obamacare subsidies — emphasizing that changing the tax credits’ structure when open enrollment is well underway, and with subsidies set to expire at year’s end, is unrealistic, Kelly reports.
It seems unlikely they’ll get their wish, as some House Republicans propose a temporary extension of the tax credits, along with structural changes like income caps and eligibility restrictions.
