Health systems continue to partner with Big Tech on artificial intelligence and virtual reality projects.

Here are six collaborations Becker’s reported on in the past month:

1. Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital has added the first FDA-cleared, mixed-reality navigation system for total hip replacements that can be used with Microsoft HoloLens 2 mixed-reality glasses, South Florida Hospital News reported June 25.

2. A study at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center that begins in July aims to determine the usability of connecting Medtronic’s GI Genius endoscopy module with Apple Vision Pro, according to a June 24 Cosmo Pharmaceuticals news release.
