Google is adding new features to its unique AI model, NotebookLM.
Just three weeks ago, I highlighted how NotebookLM’s Audio Overview feature could create an audio conversation between two AI “hosts” that was remarkably human. In a subsequent piece, I provided a quick NotebookLM tutorial and pointed out some of the current limitations in Audio Overviews. On Thursday, Google is addressing some of those limitations, making the Audio Overviews more useful than ever.
The new feature most users will appreciate is the ability to customize the generation process for an Audio Overview. At the moment, the main customization is to tell the hosts to focus on a particular topic or aspect of the content in the notebook.
