In today’s column, I examine how to obtain a year-in-review from ChatGPT and other AI chatbots, including focusing on the AI-dialogues you’ve had that pertain to mental health considerations.

Here’s the deal. OpenAI announced that users can have ChatGPT automatically produce a year-in-review that summarizes the main topics you discussed during the year. This new feature can be insightful, plus perhaps entertaining. Another way to approach an annual review entail analyzing how your mental health fared over the course of the year. If you had discussions with AI about your mental health, those aspects are readily brought forth by the AI. Furthermore, you might have expressed yourself in ways that subtly suggest mental health considerations but weren’t quite so outright....
