Flatiron Health has announced a partnership with NRG Oncology to implement the electronic health record (EHR) to electronic data capture (EDC) connector, Flatiron Clinical Pipe, in a multi-centre NRG trial.

This technology is expected to enhance efficiency and minimise the time required for entering clinical trial data.

Flatiron Clinical Pipe is tailored to “streamline” data management and expedite the timelines of the trial.

In addition to the deployment, the two entities will undertake a correlative trial to evaluate the efficiency of the pipe against traditional methods of data entry.
