On February 2, 2025, the first part of the EU AI Act regulation regarding the use of unacceptable artificial intelligence practices went into effect. The European Commission has published draft guidelines on interpreting Article 5, which describes the prohibited AI applications. Many of them concern healthcare-related use cases.
