Experts question whether it’s achievable for most American women

A top FDA official is offering her own spin on the “Pete and Bobby Challenge” on social media — an exercise challenge for Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) moms.

Sara Brenner, MD, MPH, principal deputy commissioner of the FDA, introduced the MAHA Moms Strength Challenge in a video posted on X.

“I’m a MAHA mom, and I’m encouraging all MAHA moms to get out there and try our MAHA moms strength challenge,” Brenner said.

In the video, Brenner demonstrates the challenge — 50 burpees, 50 forearm to full planks, and 100 bicycle sit-ups, which she completed, in 7 minutes and 1 second.
