Epic Systems ranked 87.8 out of 100 points for its ability to handle data, while Oracle Health ranked 78, according to a Nov. 7 KLAS report.

KLAS’ new report assesses the diversity of data source types that these vendors can take in, their effectiveness in delivering results for intricate use cases and the degree to which vendors collaborate with customers to facilitate their success.

Epic customers who were interviewed by KLAS expressed satisfaction with the vendor’s ability to seamlessly integrate clinical data and other data from Epic’s extensive ecosystem into their analytics platform. Some even mentioned their capability to incorporate non-Epic data sources. However, less contented respondents found the training lacking in addressing the complexities of the solution...
