Cincinnati-based Ensemble, a revenue cycle managed service company for healthcare organizations, received its 11th patent.

The newly patented focuses on generative AI technology designed for dynamic data retrieval, autonomous summary generation, decisioning and automated actions across systems. It combines with Ensemble’s Notes Wizard to automate accurate data exchange between hospital systems, including the EHR. The technology can adapt to shifting payer behavior for improved automation and already has automated actions on around 25% of transactions in targeted categories.

Ensemble aims to maximize human intelligence by combining it with AI, and will continue customizing the technology for unique healthcare provider circumstances to maximize every patient interaction and operational transaction. The boost is particularly beneficial in the denial appeal process.
