EHR vendor MEDITECH has expanded its longstanding partnership with Nuance Communications, Inc., a Microsoft company, by integrating a tool that uses generative AI to draft clinical notes.

The integration of Nuance’s Dragon Ambient eXperience Copilot (DAX Copilot) in the MEDITECH Expanse EHR aims to enhance healthcare experiences by automating the creation of clinical notes during patient exams.

DAX Copilot uses conversational, ambient, and generative AI to draft clinical documentation during in-person and telehealth patient visits for immediate clinician review.
