Twelve U.S. healthcare organizations have been recognized by ECRI for their excellence in supply chain management, receiving the nonprofit’s 2024 Healthcare Supply Chain Excellence Award.

The annual honor highlights hospitals and health systems that have excelled in overall spend management and adopted best practices to improve procurement processes. Participants are evaluated based on their efforts in capital medical device procurement, supply management, service contracts, and other strategic areas.

ECRI analyzed the 2023 data from its clients to select this year’s recipients. “These exemplary organizations have effectively navigated the ongoing challenges in the global supply chain market,” said Dr. Marcus Schabacker, president and CEO of ECRI.
