A new version of the DrOwl mobile electronic health records app now allows patients to access their health records from any provider, and then to combine them to get a total look at their medical records, and to follow their own health care. DrOwl is a free app available for Android and Apple devices from their respective app stores.

According to CEO Arvind Raichur, DrOwl leverages recent legislation which requires healthcare providers to provide access to medical records by patients. Raichur said that the software also interprets clinical language into plain English so that patients can understand them. The result is that all of a patient’s medical records are combined into one resource.
