  • DrDoctor has acquired mental health platform Maia from Mindwave Ventures
  • Maia, which allows users to manage appointments and access health record information, will merge with DrDoctor’s PEP
  • The acquisition aims to provide ICBs with a means to join up secondary and tertiary care services

DrDoctor has made its first foray into the mental health and community support space after acquiring personal health record platform (PHP), Maia.

Maia is a patient engagement and care planning app that allows patients to view, book, amend and cancel their appointments, complete questionnaires, access their care plans, view clinical documents and access their health information.

Following its acquisition from digital health company Mindwave Ventures, Maia will be integrated into DrDoctor’s patient engagement platform...
