Polish-based DocPlanner steps up expansion plans in Germany.

The world’s largest online healthcare marketplace, Docplanner is investing significant capital and resources into new acquisition Jameda.

As part of the deal, Docplanner will add more than 200 new team members to Jameda, investing more than a quarter of a billion euros in the German market over the next three years.

Munich-based Jameda, Germany’s biggest online healthcare marketplace from Hubert Burda Media, partners with over 20,000 doctors.

Its platform regularly attracts eight million patients, which will be added to Docplanner’s global client base of 110,000 doctors and 70 million monthly patients.

Docplanner, the digital health unicorn, will focus on growing the company’s sales, customer care and marketing teams.
