– Dexcom launched its first over-the-counter continuous glucose monitor called Stelo on Monday.

– Users can buy a one-month supply online for $99, or sign up for an ongoing subscription at $89 a month. Stelo is also FSA and HSA eligible.

– Stelo is primarily intended for the 125 million Americans with prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes not using insulin.

– Patients can use Stelo to learn about how diet, exercise, stress and other factors affect their glucose. CNBC has been testing the device since early August.
