It’s becoming alarmingly common for government bodies to run interference on decisions between a patient and their doctor. Patients struggling with already stigmatized mental health conditions or addictions are clearly the next target. Never mind that we remain in a severe mental health crisis or that substance use disorders are ravaging the US.
