The Expanding Role of Boards in Ransomware

The growing complexity of ransomware has expanded the board’s responsibilities beyond traditional oversight. “Specialization is real, and adversaries are becoming more sophisticated and machine-speed in their approach,” said Brian Walker, founder and CEO of board cybersecurity advisory firm The CAP Group. “Boards need to evolve alongside these threats.”
