U.S. Reps. Jan Schakowsky of Illinois and Dave Joyce of Ohio have introduced a bipartisan resolution that would recognize certified registered nurse anesthetists for the role they play in providing quality healthcare.
The resolution, “Recognizing the roles and the contributions of America’s Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists,” highlights the role CRNAs play in rural healthcare, especially when they are the only anesthesia providers at a facility.
