Leadership at Community Health Systems recently signed on to join the Apple Health Records EHR data viewer beta project.

Patients at hospitals affiliated with Community Health Systems (CHS) will now have the opportunity to utilize the Apple Health Records EHR data viewer to access health information from multiple providers.

About 100 CHS-affiliated hospitals now support the Health Records feature on iOS devices. The app allows patients to view EHR data from different hospitals, clinics, and providers for a more complete view of their information.

Patients receiving care from CHS-affiliated hospitals can use their iOS devices to securely retrieve and store health data from their own medical records such as allergies, conditions, immunizations, labs, medications, procedures, and vitals. CHS patients will...
