Two giants in their industries are joining forces.

CommonSpirit Health’s Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and Amazon’s One Medical are partnering so the health system’s specialists can provide care to the tech company’s primary care patients.

Virginia Mason will be One Medical’s specialty referral partner for its eight primary care clinics in the Seattle area. One Medical, which Amazon bought in February for $3.9 billion, has similar arrangements with health systems in nearly 20 of its other markets.
