Letter from 27 organizations urges CMS action this year and outlines six principles that should govern a new hybrid payment option within the Medicare Shared Savings Program

Twenty-seven organizations working on accountable care organization efforts have written a letter to leaders at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services urging CMS to establish a hybrid primary care payment option in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) this year as one approach to strengthen both primary care and ACOs.
