The CMS announced Tuesday that it has created a new data submission system for doctors and other clinicians participating in the Quality Payment Program, which went into effect this week.

The new system is intended to make submitting data easier for clinicians and reduce administrative burden, the CMS said.

The previous system required clinicians to use multiple websites to submit MACRA data. Under the new system, they will use only the Quality Payment Program website.
