More health systems are consolidating cancer care tools and exploring cloud, but pain points persist

As health systems increasingly consolidate oncology services, technology decisions are shifting toward enterprise integration and cloud-based delivery. According to the latest KLAS report, most oncology IT platforms meet clinical expectations, but vendor differentiation now rests on usability, development responsiveness, and system interoperability.

Epic Beacon, Flatiron Health’s OncoEMR, Ontada iKnowMed, and Elekta’s ONE OIS were the most measured vendors in the study, with additional observations shared on Varian’s ARIA and limited insights on Altera Digital Health.
