60% of healthcare organizations are adding new digital projects, like cloud computing, IoT, and 5G, while 42% are accelerating some or all of their existing digital transformation plans.

Ninety-three percent of organizations already have a healthcare digital transformation strategy or are in the process of creating one, according to BDO’s Healthcare Digital Transformation Survey.

Additionally, 60 percent of healthcare organizations are adding new digital projects, while 42 percent of organizations are accelerating some or all of their existing digital transformation plans.

The technology that organizations are either currently deploying or are planning to deploy include cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise resource planning software, internet of things, blockchain, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, virtual reality, robotic process automation, and 5G.
