At last month’s Global Wellness Summit Media Event held at the J.P. Morgan Chase headquarters, The Future of Wellness 2024 Report revealed the top 10 trends in the health and wellness space for this coming year. As a physician and media medical commentator, I was very interested in learning about what leaders in the health and wellness space deemed noteworthy. While I’m aware of the popularity of wellness, I grossly underestimated how popular: GWS researchers reported that the wellness industry will grow from $5.6 trillion today to $8.5 trillion by 2027. Multiple global surveys also note people are prioritizing wellness now more than ever—not unrelated to socioeconomic and geopolitical events.
