As workforce shortages and staffing salaries continue to be a major challenge for senior living operators, one way to keep the lights on and the floors clean is to use robots for labor-intensive cleaning services, one company states.

Navia Robotics is one of several companies that, in recent months, have billed their product as filling almost an existential need for senior living communities.

At one point last year, almost half of assisted living providers warned they would have to close if the labor market stayed thin.
