Cigna will remove Humira from its largest commercial formularies in 2025.
Express Scripts, The Cigna Group’s pharmaceutical benefit manager, will have several biosimilar alternatives to the biologic drug available through its formulary, according to an Aug. 23 news release.
A new Humira biosimilar is available at $0 for patients of Cigna’s Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, according to the release, which can save patients up to $3,500 per year.
