Cigna is joining a handful of other payers in CMS’ health technology “ecosystem,” according to a Cigna news release.
The CMS website said participants in the ecosystem agree to align on an interoperability framework for healthcare data and access. A number of technology firms — such as Amazon, Anthropic, Apple, Google and OpenAI — already signed on this summer.
Cigna is also accompanied by Aetna, Elevance Health, Humana and UnitedHealth Group....
