  • Cigna is expanding the geographic footprint of its Medicare Advantage plans for next year by almost a fourth, including newly entering New York and Kentucky.
  • The expansion, which includes additional counties in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia, brings Cigna’s MA presence to 581 counties in 28 states for 2023.
  • The 22% growth in Cigna’s MA footprint comes as a slew of other payers ramp up their offerings in the increasingly popular privately run Medicare plans.
