Six months after ChatGPT became available in its first native mobile version, its mobile app has been downloaded more than 110 million times and generated $28.6 million in global consumer spending.

The OpenAI-created generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot’s mobile app racked up those totals since being launched on iOS in May and on Google Play two months later, mobile data analytics provider data.ai said in a Thursday (Nov. 30) blog post.

ChatGPT went live on the web on Nov. 30, 2022, six months before the launch of its first mobile app, according to the post.
