Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Integrated Oncology Network (ION), a physician-led independent community oncology network, for $1.115 billion in cash.

– The acquisition will integrate ION into Cardinal’s Navista platform and expand its suite of solutions to deliver world-class patient care and experiences while navigating the complexities of the healthcare landscape.

Expanding Support for Independent Oncology Practices

ION comprises over 50 practice sites across 10 states, with over 100 providers deeply connected to their local communities. Their comprehensive care continuum includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, urology, diagnostic testing, and other ancillary services.
