Amid the Omicron surge in New York City, hospitals have struggled to keep up with the rising number of patients needing emergency care. MedPage Today Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Faust, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, sits down with Craig Spencer, MD, of Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, to talk about staffing shortages, hospital morale, and systemic problems facing the healthcare industry.
