A non-fungible token, often simply called an NFT, is a digital asset created with blockchain technology. They got their start in the world of art. It was a way for people to buy and sell digital artwork that was guaranteed with a digital contract. Analysts are wondering whether or not NFT contracts could also be used in other markets, such as healthcare.
