Watsonville (Calif.) Community Hospital reported an IT disruption Nov. 29, forcing the hospital into downtime procedures, according to Lookout Santa Cruz.
The 106-bed hospital reverted to paper records after its computer networks went down, affecting the hospital’s internet, EHR and prescription notifications. Watsonville Community is working with third-party IT specialists to investigate the outage.
