Latest AHIP State Data Book provides a state-by-state snapshot of how health insurance providers support affordability and access, create jobs for millions of Americans

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Health insurance providers deliver high-quality, affordable coverage to hundreds of millions of Americans and support millions of good-paying jobs. Those are two of the key takeaways from Health Coverage: State-to-State 2021, a biennial, comprehensive report by America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). The latest report, released today, takes a detailed look at health insurance coverage and industry employment for all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
