Summary

The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed social and structural inequities leading to poor health outcomes, and policy makers and health care organizations are seeking ways to use data to inform strategies to improve equity. Although there is broad agreement that measurement is an essential tool, the best way to measure health inequities is an open question.
