Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health and Miami-based Nicklaus Children’s Health System have shared plans to launch a strategic partnership to enhance pediatric care in Broward County (Fla.), according to a Nov. 21 news release.

Here are five things to know:

1. The affiliation agreement between the two parties was approved by the North Broward Hospital District boards. In early 2025, Broward Health and Nicklaus Children’s will work to expand and enhance pediatric services, with a full integration of pediatric care offerings expected in the latter part of 2025.
