The seven-state health system seeks to standardize its patient monitoring tools and processes at 49 hospitals and hundreds of care sites through the partnership.

Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health is teaming up with Royal Philips to implement and scale a new patient monitoring platform over the next three years – and then monitor it over the following seven.

WHY IT MATTERS

One of the nation’s largest Catholic health systems, BSMH has more than 1,200 care sites and 49 hospitals across Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Ohio, South Carolina and Virginia, as well as in Ireland.

The new collaboration will “transform care delivery,” according to Jodi Pahl, the health system’s chief nursing officer for workforce experience and nursing outcomes.
