Physician credentialing is often expensive and can take months. A physician credentialing application needs to be sent to several organization for verification.

However, using blockchain technology, the physician and credentialing locations can have immediate access to the physician’s encrypted credentials.

Physicians could then provide access codes to hospitals to review their verified credentials.
