Senators Susan Collins and Jeanne Shaheen have introduced a bipartisan bill aimed at curbing the cost of insulin in the U.S., into the Senate

Bipartisan legislation to control the cost of insulin to healthcare consumers and patients has been introduced into the U.S. Senate. On April 21, Senators Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-New Hampshire), introduced their INSULIN Act of 2023.

As a press release posted to Senator Collins’s Senate office website stated, “U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), co-chairs of the Senate Diabetes Caucus, introduced their bipartisan legislation, the Improving Needed Safeguards for Users of Lifesaving Insulin Now (INSULIN) Act of 2023, on Thursday, which would comprehensively address the skyrocketing costs of insulin, removing barriers...
