Here are the supply chain updates ASC leaders need to know this week.

Five supply chain updates for the week of Dec. 3-10:

  1. The House of Representatives unanimously passed the Made in America Manufacturing Finance Act, a bipartisan bill that would expand federal loan limits for small manufacturers and aims to bolster domestic supply chain resilience.
  2. An FDA advisory panel declined to endorse the Ventura interatrial shunt system, a heart failure device developed by V-Wave, a Johnson & Johnson company, citing a lack of demonstrated benefit and unresolved safety concerns.
  3. Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health expanded its prime vendor agreement with Medline to include lab distribution.
