Here are four major ASC deals Becker’s reported on in April:

1. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health and Nashville, Tenn.-based healthcare services company Surgery Partners have signed a collaboration agreement in which Surgery Partners will take over management of Intermountain’s existing ASCs in Utah and Idaho and will develop more ASCs in other select markets.

2. Columbus-based OhioHealth and Nashville-based healthcare services company Surgery Partners formed a new company to grow ASC joint ventures across the state of Ohio.

The partnership will start by expanding within the 50 counties OhioHealth currently serves, and eventually growing into the remaining 38 counties.
