Danielle Carnival has a new moonshot project.

Carnival, who led then-President Joe Biden’s cancer moonshot initiative, is now CEO of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for patients and families with rare and undiagnosed conditions.

A neuroscientist by training, Carnival says the role is a natural fit. “I’ve spent a lot of my career working with and for communities to get them better access and support, and mostly the treatment that helps them,” she said.
