Despite staffing shortages and chaotic work environments, market researchers said increased clinician EHR satisfaction, improved payer/provider relationships and progress on SDOH are advancing healthcare delivery.

According to the 2025 Best in KLAS report published this week, Epic has been named the top Overall Health System Suite, followed by Meditech and Oracle Health, for the fifteenth consecutive year. Athenahealth won the Overall Independent Physician Practice Suite award for the second time in a row. Epic also won fourteen other Best in KLAS awards, while Athenahealth took top placement in Ambulatory EHR and Practice Management for independent practices with 11–75 physicians.
