Best Buy acquired Critical Signal Technologies, a personal emergency response systems and telehealth monitoring services provider, around May 3, Digital Commerce 360 reports.

Critical Signal Technologies serves a customer base of more than 100,000 elderly individuals, according to the report. Best Buy will incorporate CST’s services as part of the company’s expansion of Great Call, a mobile device and emergency call service the technology retailer acquired last year.
