BC Platforms, known for its healthcare data and analytics systems, snapped up Scandinavian CRO 4Pharma, which has dual headquarters in Sweden and Finland, as part of a move to expand its services.

Although financial details of the sale weren’t disclosed, the deal is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter, the company said in a June 1 press release.

As part of the agreement, 4Pharma CEO Tero Oinonen will become BCP’s executive vice president for North-Europe.

With the purchase, BCP gets 4Pharma’s medical research services that include solutions for the management and delivery of clinical trial data, patient safety data collection, analysis and reporting, and support for global regulatory submissions to the FDA,...
